As a member of Michigan Fingerstyle guitar society I would like to invite anyone in the Detroit area that enjoys acoustic fingerstyle to the MFGS concert March 7th featuring Pino Forastiere from Italy With special guests Craig D’Andrea - USA and Antoine Dufour - Canada.
check out the clubs web site for upcoming concerts http://fingerstyle.org/

Saw this show Saturday evening. Biggest turnout I have seen at one of these events. But I have only been to a couple. Planning to see Peppino D'Agostino in April. I saw him play with Stef Burns a couple of times several years ago. Extremely talented guitar player.

Suppose you know that Chris Smither is playing the Ark April 3rd.

Yes it was a great show and workshop, we only had that kind of turnouts for for Laurence Juber and Andy McKee who packed the place. I actually enjoy the workshops more than the concerts, it is nice to hear the guys play unamped and relaxed, plus I get inspired to practice. Pino and Craig played my Small jumbo, and I have a great video of Pino playing my Dreadnaught last year in my Photobucket account.

Fred,

Too bad I didn't see this thread before the show. I would have sought you out to say hello.

So what did Pino think of your sj? I believe he was playing a
Martin D18 at the show.

Got the cross bracing made for my sj this evening and laid out the top.

Best,

Ken
